Pat came to Rode in 1964 as a nanny to two children on Lower Street, and has lived here ever since. Pat and John have three children, who all attended Rode village school, as did their grandchildren. Pat worked for many years at the pre-school, and also as a lunchtime supervisor at the school. Pat’s hobbies include knitting, sewing and village fund-raising.
