RODE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN AREA

Referendum on the adoption of the Rode Neighbourhood Plan

A referendum will be held on Tuesday, 18 July 2017 to decide the question below:

‘Do you want Mendip District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Rode to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’

Applications to register to vote and applications to vote by post or proxy should be made to the Electoral Registration Officer, Mendip District Council, Cannards Grave Road, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5BT based on the following deadlines:

Application Deadline for receipt
New applications to register to vote Friday 30 June 2017
New applications to vote by post or cancellation or amendment of existing postal or postal proxy votes 5 pm on Monday 3 July 2017
New applications to vote by proxy, or to change/cancel a proxy 5 pm on Monday 10 July 2017
Applications for an emergency proxy vote 5 pm on Tuesday 18 July 2017
