Hi Dianne

If you send your email address to info@rodevillage.com, I will pass on your question to a member of the local history team who has a list of some rode families. Or you may find what you are after here: http://www.avpu52.dsl.pipex.com/Families.html

Best wishes

History...I am researching my family history, and have found out that an ancestor of mine came from Rode. His name was Johnathan Wheeler. He married a Grace Long. about 1815. His father was Isaac Wheeler and his mother was a Frances Noad. Daughter of Johnathan Noad and Sally Whittaker. whose father owned one of the mills in Rode. Is there anyone who could help me with any information about these families. Thank you.
