Norton St Philip Artists Open Studios – 11.00am – 6.00pm- A very varied and interesting group of artists are exhibiting in Norton St Philip as part of the Cloth Road arts trail in the first two weeks of May. There are print makers, painters, photographers, jewellery makers, textiles and sculptors. The 9 venues create a perfect walk around the village and if you come at the weekends there will be cream teas in the church. Parking at the church and at the Fleur DE Lys. Playing Field AGM – 7.30pm- The Playing Field Committee’s Annual General Meeting will be held in the Rode pavilion. All welcome.

Rode and District Memorial Hall AGM – 8.30pm- Got something to say about your village hall? New ideas, feedback and committee members always welcome. Come along to the hall AGM and give us your input.

Rode Pre-School Open Day – 9.30 am to 12.00pm- Come along to find out more about what our Pre-School can offer your child. Drop in any time between 9.30 am to 12pm.‘Make and take’ workshops running throughout the day. Children can come along and make something with our Pre-School staff to take away with them.

Christian Aid Week - will be launched in Hardington Vale with a coffee morning in The Hub in Norton St Philip church on Saturday 12th May starting at 10.30am. There will be a cake stall and bring and buy, too. Please come along – everyone will be very welcome!.

Rode Parish Council – AGM – 7.00pm- To be held in the Committee Room at the Memorial Hall. Everyone welcome.
June 3rd
Diamond Jubilee Celebrations – 2pm. Rode Playing Field - There will be a BBQ, bar, music, kid’s
crown competition, jousting and lots more kid’s entertainment. There will also be a special children’s tea party.
June 17th
Rode Fun Run - Want to be a Rode Runner? Take part in the village fun run, open to anyone over 9 years of age. Prizes, music and more – full details on this website.
July 7th
